To create a work of art is to communicate with others through symbolism. An artworks organizational form; its scale, texture, context and the way it exploits light and shadow can cause a significant emotional response in the viewer. By provoking that response, I hope to strengthen a kind of bond between myself and the viewer through the artwork. I consider those bonds to be all that really matters. - Christopher Xavier O'Hare
